If you’ve ever wanted to copy those amazing podcast reviews from iTunes to paste into your own website, but were discouraged to find out that the iTunes’ interface doesn’t allow text selection or highlighting of any sort, here’s one method I found to do it (note: This method seems to only work with the latest 50 reviews)
PS: In order for this to work, your show needs to be listed on podbay.fm. If your show is already listed in iTunes, it is most likely listed in podbay.fm as well.
Here are the steps:
1. Go to podbay.fm and search for your podcast (warning: the site doesn’t seem to have any protection from infected popup ads, so be aware that you might see one. Otherwise, keep your AV software and browser up to date either way just in case!)
2. After you click on your show, click on Reviews. That’s it! Now you can copy all of your glorious reviews to paste them anywhere you want.
Neat huh? Enjoy setting up the Testimonial page on your website! 😉
That’s great Paul! Thanks for the tip.
You bet! Thanks for your comment.
Nice find, Paul. I tried it out and I do see all of my show’s U.S. reviews. I know I’ve had at least one review from the Australian store. Too bad Podbay doesn’t pull in all international reviews. Still, this is a really handy tip. Thanks for sharing!
I thought about that too. It’s possible there are international versions of podbay but I haven’t looked into it. I’m willing to bet there’s another podcatcher out there that has them all though!
So Good! I love it. Thanks for the tip
Thanks Paul! You’re welcome.
Three years later, found this post checking up on how to copy/paste my reviews from iTunes! Thanks so much for writing this 🙂
Ha! I know, right? Well, better late than never. You’re welcome!
